D.A.V. Public Senior Secondary School BSPS Surangani is an English medium Co-educational institute situated about 45 km From Distt. Chamba Headquarter, in serene nature's lap in Salooni Tehsil of district Chamba of Himachal Pradesh. The institute was earlier known as BSP Central School, but after its handing over to D.A.V. Management on 01 April, 2021, D.A.V. Public School came into existence. The school is affiliated to CBSE and follow the syllabi norms and courses prescribed by CBSE and NCERT. The school aims at providing high standard moral & value education along with the best academic standards followed by good ethics and discipline for the people of this remote tribal area.
The school has its own pucca building including playgrounds and indoor game hall, enough rooms for all types of instructional works. Fire safety devices have been provided where ever required. The school has a spacious library equipped with 5000 books, many journals, magazines and newspapers. It also has well-equipped independent laboratories of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Computer Science. The multipurpose hall of the school is used for teaching the students by audio-video means. It is equipped with a large interactive digital panel for audio-visual learning.
We are also focussing on extra co-curricular activities, games and sports regularly to keep the students physically and mentally fit. Inter-house/ Inter class competitions are organized every week.
